Strength: Dead lifts
I finally got a chance to start Week 2 of Cycle 3 today.
Warm up: 3 x 45; 3 x 65; 3 x 80; 3 x 100
3 x 80% = 3 x 120
3 x 85% = 3 x 140
3+ x 90% = 3 x 155
Assistance: 5 x 10 good mornings (65 lbs); 3 x 15 knees to elbow (included in the WOD)
WOD
Today was a light day compared to the last 2 days. For the first part of the workout, it was 5 minutes AMRAP of:
- 10 pull ups
- 10 pistol squats
Then rest for 5 minutes, and another 5 minutes AMRAP of:
- 10 toes to bar
- 20 double unders
I used the blue band for the pull ups and did assisted pistol squats. I also did 15 knees to elbow (actually more like knees to chest). Thank you to whoever came up with today's workout for having us do only 20 double unders!
My scores: 4 + 4 pistols; 2 + 2 DUs.
